On Monday, April 20th, a portion of North Main Street will be closed for a water service line project. In the image attached, the orange highlighted area indicates the work zone, which will be in front of Quiller Gallery. From our understanding, people will be able to drive through the work zone. Please drive carefully when passing by, as people will be walking in and out as well as heavy machinery being used. Their work hours are from 8am to 5pm.

The Public Works Department has started the grading work on city property along the west side of Rio Grande Ave in order to provide for some much needed future parking areas in the City.  The northerly parking area is being utilized presently for staging of materials by Gardner Excavating for the Phase 4 Sewer Upgrade Project.  Upon completion, some final grading will be required before opening.  The southerly lot still has rough grading to be performed, and a final layer of road base to be added before completion.

The plan is to have these parking areas be one way (entrance at the north, exit to the south at each), with diagonal parking along the westerly (hill) side, to utilize these spaces to the greatest extent possible.

These areas are to function as PARKING ONLY, and will *NOT be utilized for an OHV Trail, NOR a OHV Staging Area.*
