Performing Pothole
Residents of Creede:
Please be advised that “Badger” Company will be in the City of Creede on Tuesday 8/5/25 from approximately 8:00 am to 7:00 pm performing “potholing” (excavating utilizing a Vac/Jet truck) investigations around certain water curb shutoff valves throughout the City to verify water service line pipe materials.
This work is being paid by the CDPHE (Colorado Dept. of Public Health & Environment), as part of the requirements they have set forth in the LCRR (Lead & Copper Rule Revision) program of identifying water service line material types throughout Creede’s public water system.
The locations throughout the city include (but are not limited to) sites along the following streets: Cliff, E. Wall, E. 1st, La Garita, S. Rio Grande, and S. Aspen.
Please use caution when approaching these work zones and/or alter your route to avoid them. Give the workers ample space and courtesy during their tenure in our City in order to help keep the project moving forward in a positive direction.
Thanks in advance, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly.
Regards,
