Upcoming Information
- Residents of Creede: Please be advised that Gardner Excavating will be performing the following work the week of 8/25-8/29: Monday 8/25: Aspen at W. 3rd: Raising the manhole on S. Aspen at the intersection with W. 3rd Street. (Those “up on the hill”- 205 & 301 W. 3rd, and 211, 302, 306, 310, and 312 S. Aspen) should expect minimal access to the W. 3rd road in the morning, until early afternoon. Please plan ahead. (See Map #1) The crew will finish the day by raising the manhole on the “Lower W. 3rd St” off Loma on the right of way. (The road is closed so no traffic should be affected) Tuesday 8/26:S.Loma at W. 3rd intersection: A spot repair of the sewer pipe line in the road on S. Loma at the W. 3rd intersection will be taking place. Estimated to take all day with very limited access at the intersection. Please utilize Rio Grande Ave (off W.5th and W. 2nd) to go around the work area. (See map #2) Wednesday 8/27-Friday 8/29: S. Main Street through the alley between W.2nd & W.3rd: Crew will be replacing the sewer pipe and replacing a cleanout with a manhole at the end of the alley. S.Main Street between W. 2nd and W. 3rd street will have closures in this area throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday, so please reroute around this portion of Main Street. (See map #3)
- Gardner Excavating will be working from approximately 7:00 am until 7:00 pm M-F in order to get the work done in a timely fashion and try to reduce inconveniences. Please plan ahead and route around the work areas during these times. These days and times are approximate and dependent upon weather and any underground challenges. Pay attention while in the work zones to keep everyone safe.
