Please be advised that Gardner Excavating will be performing the following work the week of Tuesday 9/2-Friday 9/5:
Monday 9/1: LABOR DAY HOLIDAY
Tuesday 9/2 :S. Loma at alley between W. 2nd & W. 3rd: Completion of new sewer pipe installation from the alley between W. 2nd & W. 3rd out to the manhole (AG-3) on S. Loma will be taking place. Estimated to take all day with S. Loma being closed between W. 2nd & W.3rd Streets.. Please utilize W. 2nd Street (in front of K. Belle) to S. Main Street (Southbound) or W. 3rd Street to S. Main Street (Northbound) to go around the work area. (Reference map #1)
Wednesday 9/3: S. Main Street toward the alley between W.3rd & W.4th: The crew will be replacing the sewer pipe from the manhole (A-13) on S. Main Street between W. 3rd and W. 4th street. South Main St. will be closed throughout the day on Wednesday between W. 3rd and W.4th, so please reroute around this portion of Main Street utilizing W.3rd and or W.4th to Loma. (Reference map #1)
Thursday 9/4: S. Aspen (north of the W. 3rd St intersection): The crew will be performing a spot repair/sewer pipe replacement and manhole removal on Aspen Ave just north of the intersection with W. 3rd Street. The work area will restrict traffic to a single lane, with possible short closures, so please be patient and plan ahead and leave extra early for appointments. (Reference map#2)
Friday 9/5: S. Aspen (north side of the road in the easement): The crew will be performing a sewer pipe repair in the easement area just north of Aspen Ave. (Reference map #2). Equipment and materials will utilize a portion of the road in this area, so please be patient and use caution when/if driving in this portion of S. Aspen Ave.
Gardner Excavating will be working from approximately 7:00 am until 7:00 pm T-F in order to get the work done in a timely fashion and try to reduce inconveniences. Please plan ahead and route around the work areas during these times. These days and times are approximate and dependent upon weather and any underground challenges. Pay attention while in the work zones to keep everyone safe.
