Gardner Excavating UPDATE

Residents of Creede, Due to weather delays, the Phase 4 Sewer Upgrade project schedule has changed for Thursday 9/11 and Friday 9/12, and is as follows: Thursday 9/11: Alley between W. 4th and W. 5th: The crew will be performing final grading of the alley between the manhole (A-11) on Rio Grande toward S. Main Street in the alley between W. 4th and W. 5th streets, to manhole (AF-1). South Main St. will be closed throughout the day (in this area only) between W. 4th and W.5th, along with the southern end of Rio Grande near W.5th, so please reroute around this portion of S. Main Street, utilizing Loma and/or La Garita Ave. (Reference attached Map) Friday 9/12: S. Main Street between W. 2nd and W. 3rd St: The crew will be installing flow fill concrete around the newly installed sewer pipe on S. Main Street between W. 2nd and W. 3rd Streets. (near MH A-14 on the attached map). The work is scheduled to be performed between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, weather dependent and no issues with concrete truck arrival. South Main St. will be closed (in this area only) throughout the day between W. 2nd and W.3rd, so please reroute around this portion of Main Street, utilizing Loma and/or La Garita. The scheduled work in the alley between W. 5th and W. 6th has been moved to the week of 9/15-9/19, information to follow soon. Please plan ahead and route around the work areas during these times. These days and times are approximate and dependent upon weather and any underground challenges. Pay attention while around the work zones to keep everyone safe.
